Kati Wolf in The X-Factor again! Video is recorded last weekend.
L. László, who was the companion of Csézy Hungarian participant of Eurovision 2008, committed suicide last weekend at their home. He was also the producer of the singer and supported her preparations for the national final and on the international contest in Belgrade. According to the latest news, because of privacy problems, he killed himself by a gun. He was alone in the house.

RÁKAY Philip, programming manager of MTV has interviewed by Quart.hu about Eurovision in present and for the future. „We heve tried many kind of choosing methods, this year we decided to choose somebody by internal selection. Using that method we had more responsibility but I can predicate after this year’s contest that we had the right decision. We got support of our viewers, we got many emails even abroad, and musical experts also suggested to send that song. At our selection we listened all songs the composers sent to us and even songs we didn’t receive but played on the radio and were suitable to the rules.”
Every third television viewer chose to watch the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday evening, it means that the Grand Final was the most-watched television programme of the MTV Hungarian Television in this year. MTVA (Hungarian Media Support and Broadcasting Fund) is content with the viewing figures, but is not satisfied with the final result in the contest. Not only the Hungarian viewers but also international music experts, fans and bookmakers expected a higher ranking for Kati Wolf who reached the 22th place in the Grand Final.
However, Hungary came 22nd in the final on Eurovision Song Contest 2011, Kati Wolf’s song has reached the ears of experts of international music industry. The song What about my dreams is going to be released in Denmark and UK soon, according to the announcement of Attila Várkonyi Hungarian Eurovision project manager in the morning programme of MTV today. Good luck Kati!

Good luck! Hungarian participant of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, Kati Wolf held an international press conference via Skype and live webstream last Friday. She replied patiently to the questions of European reporters who could follow each moment of the live press event on MTV’s webpage specially created for this conference. Music has been my life since my childhood – tells Kati. Her father is a famous composer in Hungary but it is a lesser known fact that Péter Wolf took part twice at the Eurovision Song Contest as a conductor. Naturally daddy is very proud of me and he’s really happy, he knows what a great challenge this is for me. I’m sure that he will be even more nervous than me during the contest – she adds. Péter Wolf conducted the very first Hungarian entry in 1994 (Friderika Bayer, Kinek mondjam el vétkeimet) and the boy-group VIP in 1997 (Miért kell, hogy elmenj). In the last 14 years Viktor Rakonczai and Gergő Rácz, members of the VIP, became the most appreciated Hungarian musician experts, and they are the composers of What About My dreams as well.
