One of the most recognized Hungarian designers creates the Hungarian dresses for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Tamas Naray who is also famous for his magnificent and impressive wears, dreams fever costumes for Zoli Adok and his sexy dancer girls.

We bring the most spectacular show Hungary has ever performed in the history of the contest – promise Zoli Ádok and his dancers. “We will upgrade our performance with extravagant acrobatic elements. Luckily, both Zoli and the dancers get along easily with even the most difficult movements”, choreographer Timi Papp said at a public dance rehearsal in Budapest on 1 April.
Every proficient performer knows exactly that it is one of the most difficult challenges to sing and to dance simultaneously. If you want to sing and to dance on stage at the same time, your mind has to switch off one of them – says Zoli Ádok, the only performer at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest who is a well-skilled singer and dancer as well.
Hungarian Broadcaster MTV decided to introduce the songs of Eurovision Song Contest 2009 to their viewers from today. Channel M2 – that is the satellite and cultural channel of MTV – will broadcast all the preview videos of all the entrants every day, at 20:55 CET, right after the evening news. The songs will be presented in English alphabetical order, so today we can see the Albanian entry, and the song of the United Kingdom will be the last one.
I met Zoli in an intimate restaurant in the city centre in the afternon. I can say he is very informal and frendly full of energy and he is looking forward to stand onto the stage of Eurovision in Moscow to bring a very good result back to Hungary.

Profile Hungarian Television announced at a press conference on 23 February that this year’s entry at the Eurovision Song Contest will be the song “Dance with me” performed by Zoli Ádok. Ez a dal fogja képviselni Magyarországot a 2009-es Eurovíziós Dalfesztiválon! Gratulálunk! This is the song we’ll send to Moscow! Congratulations!

Hungarian broadcaster MTV unexpectedly received a statement from the record company Sony BMG, stating that singer and actress Kátya Tompos will not be able to participate in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The selection committee of MTV will once again gather to find Hungary’s song for Moscow…
Maybe this is the first time, when everybody is very excited about Eurovision in Hungary. It is started with the internal choosing of the jury. The Hungarian Broadcaster MTV published the conditions of sending a song, and after the deadline, the 5 membered professional jury listened all the songs all day long in the next day.
TOMPOS Kátya – Magányos csónak (Lonely Boat) This song will represent Hungary in the 54th Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. MTV has been confirmed the withdrawal of ZENTAI Márk.
The management of Marks’s record company decided to withdraw from Eurovision. Nobody has been known at Warner Music that this song has being published in Sweden before. According to the press release of his record company, Mark’s song is created by Figge Boström so that it is newer published before October 1st. The Warner executive JOÓS István along with the singer and his management decided to withdraw from Eurovision. |
