When I was 14 got a part in play at the National Theater of Iceland where I was acting and singing.
This year you were selected to represent Iceland at Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna. What does it mean for you?
It is a great honor to represent my country and my career went off with a bang. Before no one knew me but now suddenly everyone in Iceland knows who I am and I am getting opportunities I would not have dreamt off before.
Have you ever dreamed about singing on the stage of Eurovision Song Contest?
Yes this has been a dream of mine since I was 6 years old when Selma was competing in 1999 and fighting for the 1st place.
If you could pick up only one word which word describes your life?
Who are your favourite singers?
Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Beyonce.
This year there are 40 entries in the contest. Do you have your favourites?
Yes, Australia is my favorite at the moment.
What would you like to achieve in the contest?
I would love it if people would like the song and connect with it. The message is important to me and I hope people connect with the message.
I would like to meet a lot of people I might work with in the future and have fun 🙂
What inspires you?
